Become a fan of Police Authority on Facebook
South Wales Police Authority has launched a new way for people to connect with the organisation – with a dedicated page on online social networking site Facebook.
The page will feature updates on what is happening in the Police Authority, and how people can have their say on different issues. The site has been launched to help advertise the Funding Your Police Service survey, which is available at the Police Authority website,
www.southwalespoliceauthority.org.uk.
Chair of the Police Authority, Councillor Russell Roberts, said: “South Wales Police Authority is always looking for ways to engage with the community. Facebook is an easy and effective way to update people on our work, and also answer any questions. In addition, it is a cost free way of communicating with a wide cross section of people in South Wales.”
The Facebook page should not be used to report any incidents or crimes. Instead, please contact South Wales Police directly on 101.
