In order to do our work effectively, it is important that we build and develop close working relationships with different partners.
As such, a Partnerships Strategy has been developed, which considers different elements of partnership working, and an action plan for future growth.
Our aims for partnership working are:

South Wales Police Authority has an effective, co-ordinated, strategic approach to partnership working

South Wales Police Authority is a strong and effective partner in each of the seven Community Safety Partnerships in South Wales with good governance arrangements, capable Members and secretariat.

South Wales Police Authority should ensure that planning processes to determine policing and community safety priorities are aligned to partners, and promote complementary priorities.

South Wales Police Authority is ready for the future, and ensures a smooth handover of partnership related work to the Police and Crime Commissioner, once elected.
