During 2006 a number of applications were sought from organisations wishing to receive a grant from the Police Property Act Fund. 
 
A total of 79 applications were received.  Those who received grants were:
 

BRIDGEND

 
BRIDGEND ATHLETIC CLUB - £522, towards purchasing new athletics equipment.
BRIDGEND YOUTH COUNCIL - £522 towards producing a film/DVD explaining the ASBO process.
KENFIG HILL RFC MINI & JUNIOR SECTION - £522 towards kits and training aids.
PENCOED RFC MINI & JUNIOR SECTION - £522 towards kits and equipment.
ST JOHN AMBULANCE - £522 towards purchasing laptops for training new cadets.
WYNDHAM BOYS & GIRLS CLUB - £390 to purchase new kit and balls.
 

CARDIFF

 
GRANGETOWN BOYS & GIRLS CLUB - £1500, towards new football kits, supporting equipment and training.
LISVANE PANTHERS FC - £500, towards kit and training aids.
RBC UNITED - £500 towards training and match day equipment.
SPLOTT ALBION JUNIOR FC - £500 for training costs and kits for the teams.
 

MERTHYR TYDFIL

 
ABERCANAID YOUTH CLUB - £500 to purchase equipment.
ABERFAN AND MERTHYR VALE YOUTH AND COMMUNITY PROJECT - £500 to purchase arts and crafts material.
MERTHYR MINI & JUNIOR RFC - £500 to purchase kit and equipment.
PANT & DOWLAIS BOYS & GIRLS CLUB - £500 to purchase a new pool table.
PENYDARREN BOYS & GIRLS CLUB - £500 towards a projector and screen for the building.
TREHARRIS BOYS & GIRLS CLUB - £500, to provide a comfort area in the club building.
 

NEATH PORT TALBOT

 
BAGLAN BOYS & GIRLS CLUB - £230.70 towards developing space in the club for teenagers.
CROESERW COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION - £230.70 towards purchase of equipment for a range of sports and fitness clubs.
CWMAVON & DISTRICT BOYS CLUB - £230.70 towards creating a new Under 8 football team.
DUKE OF EDINBURGH AWARD - £230.70 towards paying for entrance packs onto the award.
DULAIS VALLEY PARTNERSHIP - £230.70 towards refurbishing a room in community hall for young people.
GIANTS GRAVE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB - £230.70 towards purchase of new kit for football teams.
GLAMORGAN ARMY CADET FORCE B COMPANY - £230.70 towards purchase of climbing equipment.
MARGAM YOUTH CENTRE - £230.70 towards providing up to date equipment.
ONLLWYN AFC - £230.70 towards the cost of a new water heater for the club house.
PELENNA YOUTH CLUB ASSOCIATION - £230.70 towards pool table and table tennis equipment.
PORT TALBOT TIGERS FC - £230.70 towards costs associated with tournaments and competitions.
SAFER NEATH PORT TALBOT PARTNERSHIP - £230.70 towards purchase of two learner driver motorcycles.
YOUTH SERVICE NEATH PORT TALBOT COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL - £230.70 towards purchase of resources to help address anti-social behaviour issues.

UPPER RHONDDA BRASS BAND - £500 to purchase music stands and equipment.

DYLAN THOMAS COMMUNITY SCHOOL PTA - £87.64 towards purchase of new games.
DYLAN THOMAS COMMUNITY SCHOOL - £382.36 towards purchase of new sports kit.
FAIRBRIDGE - £500 towards funding courses for disadvantaged young people in South Wales.
GOWERTON RFC - £250 towards purchase of new kit.
GSP PARTNERSHIP LTD - £500 towards production of a regular newsletter.
SWANSEA HARRIERS AC - £100 towards hosting track and field meetings.
MUMBLES RFC - £255 towards upgrading of equipment
PARKLANDS CHURCH - £300 towards new equipment
PREMIER BOXING CLUB - £250 towards purchase of new equipment.
