Consultation

South Wales Police Authority is committed to engaging and consulting with the public.

We have a legal duty to consult, and find out the opinions of people when it comes to policing and their priorities.

However, we want to go further than this, and have you assist us when it comes to making decisions about how policing will be done.

Throughout the year, we offer people a variety of different ways to become involved, and have their say. This includes:
  • Roadshows
  • Questionnaires
  • Meetings
  • Citizens Panel

All of the results are fed directly to the Police Authority and the Force, who use them to help make key decisions for policing in South Wales.
