Complaints via letter, email or fax

In order to assist the Authority in dealing with your complaint and respond to you in a timely and thorough manner, you may wish to provide the following information shoudl you wish to complaint via letter, email or fax:
 
  • Your full contact details, including name, address and contact telephone number
  • Details of the person(s) you wish to complain about, for example name, rank (if applicable) and any other identifier
  • Details of the incident including:
    • where the incident happened
    • when the incident happened
    • the circumstances
      • who was involved
      • what was said and done
      • any other people who witnessed the incident
      • any damage or injury that occurred
      • details of any witnesses
 
The complaint should be forwarded to:

Should the complaint be against the Chief Executive, it should be forwarded to the Chair of the Police Authority at the same address.
