Police Authority Members are representatives of the community, and therefore must conduct themselves in a way that does not discredit their office.
All Police Authority Members must abide by a Code of Conduct, which maintains their actions while performing their role as a Police Authority Member.
The full Code of Conduct can be viewed by opening the document at the bottom of this page.
If you feel a Police Authority Member has acted contrary to this Code of Conduct, you may make a complaint against them.
A Standards Committee has been established to ensure that Authority Members own ethical standards are of highest order. Made up of two Authority Members, and three Independent Representatives, the Committee meets regularly. For more details on the Standards Committee,
