Between July and October 2009, South Wales Police Authority carried out a scrutiny process on collaboration.
 
The purpose of this was to increase Members knowledge of collaboration and consider whether it represents value for money to South Wales Police Authority
 
A strategic overview of collaboration to include:
  • The origins of the collaboration agenda and what does collaboration mean
  • Who are the collaboration partners
  • What are the governance arrangements for collaboration
  • How is collaboration funded and what is the funding split between partners
  • What SMART objectives are being realised as a result of collaboration
  • What are the short, medium and long term outputs
  • Does collaboration provide value for money
