Terms of reference

 
1. To consider the work of:
  • Local Authority Community Safety Partnerships,
  • Safer South Wales, 
  • Local Service Boards 
  • Local Criminal Justice Board
  • All Wales Community Safety Forum
 
2.  To consider any issues arising from the Local Authority Crime and Disorder Scrutiny Panels that affect the Police Authority.
 
3. To consider and monitor the role of neighbourhood policing and Partnerships and Communities Together (PACT) meetings.
 
4. To monitor the Authority’s and Force’s Community Engagement Strategies.
 
5. To consider all issues relating to Authority and Force marketing and communications, including the Local Policing Summaries.
 
6. To consider all aspects of community consultation undertaken by the Authority and Force, and the progress of citizen focus work.
 
7. To receive and consider reports from the Authority’s custody visiting and animal welfare panels.
 
8. To determine the outcome of the Community Safety Volunteer awards and Police Property Act Fund donations.
 
9. To consider emerging risks to the Authority’s vision and objectives.
