During the Spring and Summer of 2009, the Police Authority ran a number of roadshows across South Wales, asking members of the public their views on the police.
We asked to what extent do people agree or disagree with the following statement:
‘The police and local council are dealing with crime and anti-social behaviour issues that matter in my area.’
We had a fantastic response in each of the areas we visited, with a total of 1246 people taking part, and our overall results were as follows:
Strongly agree - 27.8%
Tend to agree - 39.5%
Neither - 9.4%
Tend to disagree - 13.3%
Strongly disagree - 10.0%
